I don't own a 360 and prefer the PS3, but I like the idea that Microsoft has come with for once and wanted to write an article that was not slanted in favor of the PS3....because I don't own a 360..
but in this aspect, I thought that the voice recognition can really change the way we operate our consoles...
I said consoles...and that is where consoles are headed....
I only own a PS3, so I can only speak for that and the Playstation Store along with the XMB is a telltale of where consoles are headed...
edit: can someone explain to me why this gets disagrees? ...before, people weren't reading the articles, now they can't read headlines?
I like what Sony is doing with the motion controls a little better with how it uses the EyeToy...and if Sony added speech/voice recognition, then that would probably one-up Natal...
and good looks on everyone nitpicking on the speech/voice recognition thing...it's at least entertaining on my end...

very true, I was just going off the Final Fantasy theme and they seem to be trying to make up for the move they did with Microsoft if that is indeed the reason why development for FFXIII has been slowed this much...
or if the game is "gimped" on the PS3...

there's several "Don's" out there...it's pretty random to try and link me to anyone out there other than myself...
when someone beats Final fantasy VII within 7 days....I would consider that lazy...
I know hardcore gamers who have lives and work....but it's the "upper class" of hardcore who plug in 50 hours a week into gaming...
edit: and 50 hours a week spent on entertainment is simply too much unless you don't have any responsibilities...
I think I'm going to start boycotting all "timed exclusive" games....even if they are timed exclusive in my favor....
if a game is multi-platform....then it should release on all systems at once...

I consider myself a casual hardcore because I like playing games, I just rarely take the time to beat them....plus I have over 20 games, but I can go a good two weeks without playing any of them..
once in awhile I take the time to really put it to a game and beat it....

I am really hesitant on downloading FFVII from the PSN when it releases today because of how it will turn out...
I'd much rather have a re-make of the game as was teased back in 2005....
I could care less about the MMO and FFVII re-release.....just take that effort and put it towards a re-make of FFVII....even if it only features enhanced cut-scenes and only 1080p up-scaled resolution...

I think what they meant by that is the possibilities you have when creating levels and the fun things you can do while racing....
the graphics look like they'll be rich and colorful....so it's not so much graphically as they seem to be going with the cartoonish look....but it's just the possibilities....
..plus it's PR speak anyways...I'm shocked that almost everyone up there didn't say they used the PS3 to it's fullest capabilities...

sadly, reading the negative comments are much more entertaining than the good ones...
